About the Book

Those of you living through the next thirty years will become the most powerful creatures that have ever existed. You will live long, novel lifestyles doing more significant, meaningful work. You will function as only geniuses could have done in the past. You will collaborate and share experiences in physical and virtual reality with anyone, anywhere, anytime. Innovations in medicine, seamless integration with automation, and unlimited Cloud computing power make it possible. You will have the opportunity and the duty to create a decidedly better world. You will need to develop the wisdom to use this expansive power in advance of receiving it. Your success will decide if the future is a new age of enlightenment or darkness. Experience and maturity alone cannot provide the required wisdom fast enough. You will need to maximize your innate potential to accelerate wisdom. The Potentialist: Your Future in the New Reality of the Next Thirty Years explains the first steps to achieve your potential and accelerate wisdom. You will be encouraged to discard potential-limiting mindsets, wasteful habits, and destructive lifestyles that caused unnecessary suffering in prior generations You will discover how forces of change create a better world--a New Reality--by breaking down the one we know. The pace of life will accelerate and become more turbulent. Institutions such as government, education, religion, news media, and many employers will be disrupted and become less reliable. But you will see the unfolding New Reality through the lens of opportunity instead of anxiety and fear. This first installment in a three-book series is for those who will live thirty years or more, those and older and seeking to assist younger people through this unprecedented challenge, and leaders who are adapting organizations for the New Reality. Mind-blowing change is coming, and The Potentialist offers a roadmap to success.

About the Author :
Ben Lytle is a self-made serial entrepreneur-CEO known for being ahead of the curve. He launched five successful companies, including two listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The best known is Anthem, today twenty-ninth on the Fortune 500 with a market value over $100 billion. He is a healthcare policy expert who served on state and presidential healthcare commissions, a governance leader with extensive public company experience, a senior athlete, world traveler, father of three children, and grandfather to eight grandchildren. Ben's devotion to individual and collective human potential through accelerated wisdom guides his writing, speaking, entrepreneurial energy, and investments. He believes that people and organizations today underestimate the extent and speed with which they and the world will change. Time to prepare and adapt is being compressed, opportunities are being missed, and unnecessary suffering will result unless prompt action is taken. He wrote The Potentialist: Your Future in the New Reality of the Next Thirty Years as a guide to success through wiser, timely actions and decisions in the opportunity-rich, turbulent times ahead.

Review :
"Ben is someone who, simply put, never stops thinking about where we are and where we're going. He has made it his life's work to synthesize his knowledge and experiences into keen insights about the future. In The Potentialist: Your Future in the New Reality of the Next Thirty Years, Ben boldly lays out what the future will mean for the world of work and the expression of human potential." - JIM PARKER, Former Senior Advisor to the Secretary of the Department of Health & Human Services, health plan CEO, investor, and board member "Ben Lytle has written an important book. He reminds us that the only constant in life is change and that our ability to adapt and innovate will define our place in the world, both as individuals and as a nation. Based upon lessons learned as a successful businessman and community leader, Ben offers both practical and high-level insights worth the read for ordinary citizens, prospective entrepreneurs and policy makers alike." - EVAN BAYH, Attorney, advisor, board member and former two-term governor and two-term US senator for Indiana "Ben's insights and experiences provide great wisdom and practical advice for navigating the coming years both from a professional and personal standpoint."- ROB ROSENBERG, Global Head of Human Resources, DHL Supply Chain "The world is changing quickly. Technology accelerates the divide between the people who create hardware and software and those who do not. Divides force people apart and politicians have been ineffective at bringing us together. Ben Lytle saw how technological advances could facilitate management of healthcare information and the reinvention of health insurance. Throughout his career, he has transformed organizations by mastery of change and informatics. His employees, customers, and shareholders--all ultimately 'patients'--have benefited. In The Potentialist: Your Future in the New Reality of the Next Thirty Years, he shares what will happen next and why. It's scary and exciting. He provides us with strategies to stop, think and flourish in a future world that prior generations could not even imagine." - WOODROW A. MYERS, JR., MD, MBA, Harvard- and Stanford-trained physician; former health commissioner for Indiana and New York City; former director of healthcare management of Ford Motor Company; former EVP and chief medical officer of WellPoint, Inc.; managing director of Myers Ventures, LLC "There are many excellent books on the changes coming in the next few decades, but Ben Lytle is the first author to tackle in detail how those changes will affect our lives and careers and how to act now to adapt and thrive. Ben's perspective as a proven entrepreneur and leader at the highest levels of business provides the perfect roadmap for growth and success in the new era of business and life."- JOSH LINKNER, Five-time tech entrepreneur and New York Times bestselling author

A Thrilling But Totally Believable Murder Mystery

Read this in one evening. I had planned to do other things with my day, but it was impossible to put down. Every time I tried, I was drawn back to it in less than 5 minutes. I sobbed my eyes out the entire last 100 pages. Highly recommend!
