About the Book

Believing is Seeing brings a unique perspective to living a Christian life that brings happiness, joy, and increased longevity. You can improve your health and extend your life span by following the information in the book provided by a Christian physician. As an ophthalmologist, I can add a different perspective on living a Christian life-or what I call a God-Centered Paradigm. Your eyes and brain are incredible designs and structures developed by God. The intricacy and interconnectivity of the human body are amazing. There is evidence of God's hand in every aspect of this world He created. I will show you how your brain and vision work together so that you can learn to see this world from a godly perspective. The book will give you Biblical instruction, combined with my medical knowledge of living a long healthy life, centered on a Christian foundation.

About the Author :
Dr. Croley made the decision to become an ophthalmologist at age 14. He felt a calling to help people with their vision. He has spent his life working and researching in the field of eye care. Dr. Croley has been practicing ophthalmology for over 35 years in Southwest Florida. Dr. Croley has served on numerous boards and committees of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Florida Society of Ophthalmology, Bonita Springs Lions Eye Clinic, and others. He has served as President of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology. Dr. Croley developed a telemedicine computer system in the 1990s when very few people knew about telemedicine. He also developed an electronic medical records program that he has used in his office since 1998. Seeing the need for funding for the local center that takes care of the blind called The Lighthouse for the Blind, he began its original fundraiser for the organization. In addition to his passion for helping people see better, Dr. Croley uses his love of gourmet cooking to support local charities by inviting people into his home and preparing gourmet dinners with all the proceeds benefiting charities. He lectures on eye diseases, teaches courses on eye surgery and eye disease treatments. He lectures at churches and various groups about subjects related to this book.

Review :
"Dr. Croley has done an exceptional job of exploring how we are "wonderfully and fearfully" made. Combining his extensive medical knowledge with some of the latest research on neurological and anatomical functioning, and integrating this information with Scripture and orthodox Christian doctrine, he makes a compelling case for understanding how a God-centered paradigm is completely consistent and congruent with living life to the fullest. A heartily recommend this book to both the Christian believer and those wanting a reason to believe!" Alfred Barrow, psychologist Simple insights served up in a savory fashion. Slow down, be still, and let this book guide you to a better place. Look for it to help change everything from what and how you think to what you eat. Dr. Jim Croley provides us a special salve for the brain and points us to the truth...believing really is seeing. Chuck Wolfe, Retired USAF Colonel Dr. Jim Croley has combined profound scientific truths with deep spiritual insights into the Bible and the life of faith. He provides a fascinating journey into a deeper understanding of who we are and how we should live. I was inspired by the lifetime of learning this experienced eye surgeon shares with us. He is, both literally and figuratively, a true "eye-opener! Dr. Doug Pratt, Senior Pastor, Bonita Springs, FL If you are looking for a book that can seriously change your relationship with God for the better, you are looking at it. John McWilliams, Pastor
