Is it any wonder that people worldwide lay awake at night wondering what may come next? In a world that seems to be turned upside down and without faith, unity, even unity within the church, seems to be fleeting. Neighbor rises against neighbor, and family members are unable to agree; the idea of unity in the world as we know it seems nearly impossible. I just finished reading Kathy's book on the Power of Unity. I just love the way Kathy writes. Her book and her writing are easy to read and easy to digest. Some books I read I get lost after every other paragraph. This book is practical as well, as it will provoke us to take a biblical look at how God intended unity to function in our lives and in the life of the church. I felt like in reading this book, I was reading a handbook on how God desires us to work together to fulfill his divine purposes on earth. The challenge for all of us will be in asking the Lord how to implement these truths into our lives and into our churches.
