About the Book

Miranda Heath is a quirky fifteen-year-old with cinematic dreams and a safe, predictable family. That is until she decides to pull at the loose end that is the estranged husband her aunt never divorced. What seemed like the best way to allow her aunt to get on with her life sets off a series of events that threaten to turn Mandy’s world upside down. Suddenly, she’s embarking on adventurous road trips, becoming the center of an increasingly unstable household, meeting surprising strangers, and seeing everyone she knows in new ways. Sometimes loose ends just want to stay loose. But what happens if they want to unravel completely? Warm, funny, and uniquely perceptive, Keep the Ends Loose is an irresistible novel filled with characters you might recognize – and will not forget.

Review :
"A humorous coming-of-age-story where secrets of the past collide with the present and family bonds are stretched to the limits of forgiveness. Quirky, hopeful, and wonderfully original." --Beth Hoffman, New York Times bestselling author of Saving CeeCee Honeycutt "Miranda Heath, the earnest fifteen-year-old narrator of Keep the Ends Loose, has voice for days and a genius for description. Her casually brilliant observations about her family -- which is both completely screwy and entirely real -- will keep you in the edge of your seat. Miranda's creator, Molly Campbell has a true humorist's touch, light and occasionally scathing, but filled with compassion all the while." --Robin Black, author of Life Drawing, A Novel "Keep the Ends Loose is a charming story of love, trust and beautiful locations. In her fast paced, witty style, Campbell paints a picture of an ideal family that is thrown into a world of chaos and must learn to trust one another again. I highly recommend it!" --Anita Hughes, author of Lake Como "Molly Campbell 's writing is clear as a bell. Her novel should earn her many new listeners, many new readers." --Liz Rosenberg, bestselling author of The Moonlight Palace "Molly D. Campbell has conjured quite the character in 15-year-old Mandy Heath, giving her an appealing sense of humor, a disarming sense of perspective and rampant curiosity. Make time for this insightful, compelling debut. You'll be glad you did." --Craig Lancaster, best-selling author of 600 Hours Of Edward and The Fallow Season of Hugo Hunter "I recommend it to anyone who enjoys realistic fiction that deals with a normal family and likes to laugh!" -- Quotes from Books "Campbell's character based story thrives with well rounded characters that are as realistic as you or I." -- Beth Art from the Heart "Recommended for older fans of young adult as well as readers of the adult fiction genre because there is certainly something in there for both crowds and it's winding tale should not be missed." -- Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers "Keep the Ends Loose is warm, funny, and satisfying... A compelling read, I had to stay up to finish it." -- Good Day, Regular People "Light and comical in spots, and with genuine warmth throughout, this novel ultimately works because Molly D. Campbell creates some very engaging characters." --The 3 R's Blog " A charming read for older readers who still feel like awkward teens, such as myself." --House of Prince " The author did a first class job in capturing the angst so common to teenagers, of getting into the mind-set of the the main character, the somewhat naive if wonderfully quirky fifteen year old Miranda (aka Mandy)." --Pen and Paper
