About the Author :
Eila Mell is a journalist who has spent many years writing about fashion, theater, and film and interviewing many of the biggest names in the worlds of fashion and entertainment. She has appeared on dozens of television and radio shows, including The Insider, Hollywood 411, and The Mark & Brian Show. Eila is also author of the book New York Fashion Week. Project Runway is a reality TV series produced by the Weinstein Company that debuted in 2004. Hosted by model Heidi Klum and co-starring Tim Gunn, Michael Kors, and Nina Garcia, the show features twelve or more aspiring designers each season competing for cash, prizes, and finally the ultimate honor of presenting their own collection at New York Fashion Week. Over the years the show has founded many careers in the fashion industry, been critically acclaimed, and is a favorite among millions of fans. Season ten premieres July 2012.
