About the Author :
Christine Newman Levy, RD, MBA, MHA, FACHE, CSHA, is the Joint Commission Sustainment Officer at Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, CO. Levy has more than 27 years of military and civilian experience as a dietitian and healthcare administrator in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2005, but continuing to serve in a civilian capacity. She has been a Registered Dietitian since 1986, a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives since 2007, and a Certified Specialist in Healthcare Accreditation from the Association of Healthcare Accreditation Professionals since 2009.
