Review :
"This book will challenge and help you to take definite and understandable steps in your quest to have a maximum impact in the lives of others the Lord has placed around you."--Steve Viars, Senior Pastor, Faith Church, Lafayette, Indiana
Spiritual bareness has blighted much of today's church notwithstanding its flurry of activities, sophisticated organization and numerical growth. In this book Dr Mack does the church the immense favor by calling attention, in a thoroughly biblical way, to Christian fruitfulness, thereby raising it to the lofty standard by which God would have us measure it. Pastors seeking authentic congregational love should not hesitate to commend "Maximum Impact" to their flock.--Choolwe Mwetwa, Pastor of Central Baptist Church, Chingola Zambia.
Dr. Mack has been one of the biggest mentors in my life, and now he can be yours too through this book. If ever I have known a man committed to living a fruitful life and having maximum impact, it is Dr. Mack. What a great opportunity in this book for us to learn better how to imitate such fruitfulness in our own lives.--Timothy Cantrell, Pastor Antioch Bible Church, Randberg, South Africa, NANC member
This book is one of those can't-put-it-down volumes, where the reader is quickly drawn in by the pastoral heart and practical insights of the author. Dr. Wayne Mack takes the study of biblical love to new heights, giving a careful and very engaging treatment of love's characteristics as described by the Apostle Paul in First Corinthians thirteen. From years of ministry and pastoral counseling experience, Dr. Mack brings out implications from Scripture rarely considered in today's superficial culture of cheap love and throw-away relationships. His challenging questions at the end of each chapter are a tremendous tool for churches and Bible study groups that desire a deeper, yet intensely practical guide to loving one another in a way that brings maximum impact to your life for the glory of Jesus Christ. I wholeheartedly recommend it!--Jerry Wragg, Pastor of Grace Immanuel Bible Church, Jupiter, Florida
Wayne and Carol Mack came into my life when they moved to South Africa in 2005. They both ooze a joyful, caring and loving attitude. I was comfortable in their presence from the moment that I met them. If I had to explain why this is the case, two reasons come to mind. In the first place they know the Bible inside out. Their Theology is spot on and deeply ingrained. But more than that they humbly, obediently and visibly live out what they believe. And that has more impact on me than flowery words and impressive proclamations. They showed me love, I felt it, they did not have to tell me that they loved me. And here in this book Wayne lifts the veil as to how they manage to live out love in such a practical and tangible way. If you and I can manage to apply only 20 % of what Wayne teaches us in Maximum Impact, your life and those around you will be greatly enriched and God will be glorified.--Ian Murray, Pastor/Shepherd/Counselor at Grace Fellowship Church, Pretoria, South Africa; Coordinator of South Africa Shepherd's Conferences
Wayne has done it again! He has written another wonderfully practical volume--this time breaking down the ultimate Christian character quality (of love) into easily digested, bite sized pieces that all can readily consume. It's a book that every Christian should read!--Lou Priolo, author of several books, Director of the Center for Biblical Counseling at Eastwood Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, Alabama, instructor at Birmingham Theological Seminary, Fellow in the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors, and a section editor for the Journal of Modern Ministry.
Wayne Mack has written a comprehensive book on how to truly have a Maximum Impact living a fruitful life of love for others. This book is full of practical stories, clear practical application and, most importantly of all, Scriptures explained in their context. What a wonderful study to motivate Christians in their love for others because of what the Lord has done for us!--Martha Peace
Wayne Mack has written yet another biblical, practical book about a critical subject: how to influence others by exercising genuine Christlike love. That love is exhibited in kindness, unselfishness, courtesy, trust, hope, joy, and perseverance. It is absent of envy, jealousy, pride, rudeness, irritability, and rudeness. After discussing the traits of love in the context of 1 Corinthians 13, Dr. Mack provides numerous applications for review and discussion. Maximum Impact shows us the Christian way of winning friends and influencing people. If every Christian read this book and put it into practice, the church would truly be salt and light in the world.--Joel R. Beeke, President, Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary
