Review :
"OCD can make you feel alone, misunderstood, and trapped. With Getting Over OCD, all that will change. Dr. Abramowitz, a world renowned expert, coaches you through a program that can free you from your struggle with obsessions and compulsions. He doesn't soft-pedal the work required -- you're up against a powerful challenger. But his warm and reassuring voice, coupled with a comprehensive, scientifically proven, step-by-step format, will keep you supported and motivated." - Reid Wilson, author of Don't Panic "It is now well documented that cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is the most effective treatment for OCD, and Abramowitz is one of our most distinguished researcher-clinicians in the field. This first-rate book presents CBT principles and techniques in a self-help format that will be invaluable to OCD patients. Following the steps outlined here can help readers experience a significant decrease in their symptoms. Abramowitz's positive and motivating style will serve patients well; clinicians and researchers also will find this book a 'must read." - Michael A. Jenike, Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School, USA
