About the Author :
Susan E. George is currently a senior lecturer in Computer and Information Science at the University of South Australia. Her research interests include artificial neural networks and pattern recognition with applications in biometrics, medicine, language learning and music recognition. She received her BSc and PhD in computer science from the University of Reading, UK and MSc in Knowledge-Based Systems from Edinburgh University, UK. Dr. George has undertaken post-doctoral research at both the Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences, University of Wales and the School of Computer and Information Science (CIS), University of South Australia.
