About the Book

In his book A Different War, poet, filmmaker and photographer Chip Duncan documents the chaos of the war in Ukraine while in search of light and hope. A Different War offers more than a frontline report. Duncan uses poetry, photography, and personal experience in crisis zones to tell the story of civilians impacted by conflict. With their homes, schools, and businesses destroyed by Russian attacks, what happens to the millions of Ukrainians who have been injured and displaced forever?
