About the Book

Newborn and Neonatal Coding Issues Webinar Coding for services provided to neonates has proved challenging to practitioners and coders primarily because bundled services differ from most other evaluation and management services. The codes reported for normal newborn, critical care, and intensive care depend on the neonate s age, present body weight, severity of the illness, and intensity of the services that are required and performed. This 60-minute webinar will help you Understand how to code for prenatal services in inpatient and outpatient settings. Better identify those newborns and neonates who require critical or intensive care services. Code more efficiently for services provided to newborns and neonates. Understand CPT(r) guidelines related to newborn and neonatal coding.About the Presenter: Richard Molteni, MD, FAAP, has had a career as a pediatrician, an academic neonatologist, and a physician executive in hospital administration.
