Review :
"Ferguson and Shade have assembled an outstanding collection of cries that echo across Canada's civic and cultural landscape. More of a cornucopia than a cacophony, each of these voices emerges clearly as it makes a distinct statement about a particular aspect of the Canadian social condition."-Marc Raboy Professor, Department of Communication University of Montreal "One of Canada's contributions to the world is its embrace of diversity. Civic Discourse and Cultural Politics captures some of the key dimensions of that diversity."-Rowland Lorimer Director, Canadian Centre for Studies in Publishing
