An abstract of her Master’s thesis, A Comparison of Two Basketball Specific Stretching Programs on Vertical Jumping Ability and Incidence of Injury was published in The Basketball Bulletin. She was selected to participate on an expert panel for the evaluation of United States Marine Corp recruit training in San Diego, where the panel created recommendations for modifying the USMC recruit-training program to reduce military training related injuries. Recently Carolyn instructed approximately 400 firefighters and paramedics on Strength Training and Core Stabilization for Job Performance and Injury Reduction. Currently she is working as a Certified Athletic Trainer at San Diego State University.
