WENDY S. HOPFENBERG is the associate director of the National Center for the Accelerated Schools Project at Stanford University. HENRY M. LEVIN is the David Jacks Professor of Higher Education and Economics at Stanford University. He is also director of the National Center for the Accelerated Schools Project.
