De Occultis Templum est� formada por dos obras del autor que comparten el mismo g�nero, la mayor�a de los personajes centrales y, en definitiva, el objetivo central del accionar de los mismos, la b�squeda de tesoros de gran valor material y cultural. Ambas son novelas de suspenso rom�ntico, y aunque son obviamente creaciones narrativas se asientan en el rico humus hist�rico del continente. Las obras son: Leyenda Dorada y Templarios bajo la Cruz del Sur Leyenda Dorada comienza con una saga del siglo X que narra la llegada, de un n�ufrago Vikingo a una ciudad maya. All� es aceptado como un avatar del dios Kukulk�n y se casa con una princesa de la regi�n. Un hilo gen�tico vincula a esos personajes brumosos con una joven arque�loga mexicana en la �poca actual y a trav�s de ella con los miembros de una expedici�n organizada para encontrar El Gran Paititi, legendaria ciudad perdida de los Incas en Sud Am�rica. Los mitos sobre civilizaciones perdidas son recurrentes en todas las culturas ya que ejercen una atracci�n rom�ntica irresistible en el alma humana. La b�squeda se desarrolla al comienzo en la selva amaz�nica entre Per� y Brasil y luego en los bosques de tierras altas peruanas. La expedici�n ha atra�do la atenci�n de personajes muy peligrosos liderados por un ex oficial de inteligencia sovi�tico que est�n en busca del Paititi por sus riquezas con el fin de ponerlas al servicio de un proyecto de restauraci�n de la potencia mundial. Por �ltimo, un extra�o grupo milenarista de supuestos descendientes de los Incas tiene la intenci�n de expulsar a todos los extranjeros que contaminan su suelo sagrado y as� preservarlo para el d�a de la resurrecci�n del vasto Imperio. Todos estos elementos interact�an en la novela logrando la creaci�n de un suspenso sostenido hasta el cl�max final. En el inicio de Templarios bajo la Cruz del Sur un ni�o halla en las playas patag�nicas unas extra�as piedras talladas con fragmentos escritos en lat�n y una cruz de ocho puntas. Esto dispara la acci�n en tiempo presente, cuando las piedras son analizadas por miembros de la familia del ni�o, entre ellos una arque�loga mexicana descendiente de mayas y su marido. Al percatarse del origen templario de las inscripciones, comienza una ardua b�squeda para develar el destino del tesoro. El primer contacto es un antrop�logo suizo residente en la ciudad de Bariloche, en una regi�n de lagos de la Patagonia Argentina. Una de las constataciones sorprendentes que realizan es que a�n existen descendientes de los templarios formando una cofrad�a milenarista que propugnan los valores de sus antepasados, radicada en zonas remotas de los bosques andino-patag�nicos. Hacia all� se encaminan en una expedici�n de investigaci�n. Pero su partida no pasa desapercibida a un grupo de depredadores de tesoros culturales, art�sticos y arqueol�gicos que act�an a gran escala en forma internacional, dirigidos por un misterioso ex coronel de la KGB. Ellos env�an un poderoso grupo armado tras las huellas de los exploradores. Los cient�ficos toman contacto con pobladores en los que reconocen a miembros de la cofrad�a, celosos del cuidado de su patrimonio, en el que suponen, hay no solamente bienes materiales sino uno de los objetos m�s sagrados para la Cristiandad seg�n la concepci�n medieval. Guiados por la arque�loga, dotada de una sensibilidad especial para la detecci�n de arcanos, los buscadores se dirigen a un punto inaccesible del bosque, donde presumen se halla el tesoro. Es en medio de esos parajes perdidos donde estalla un conflicto sangriento entre los bandos en pugna.
