In Fatty Fatty Boom Boom, Chaudry chronicles the dozens of times she tried and failed to achieve what she was told was her ideal weight. The truth is, she always loved food too much to hold a grudge against it.
This memoir is at once an ode to Pakistani cuisine, including Chaudry's favourite recipes; a love letter to her Muslim family, both here and in Lahore; and a courageously honest portrait of a woman making peace with a body that gets the job done but refuses to meet the expectations of others.
About the Author :
Joby Martin is the founder and lead pastor of The Church of Eleven22 in Jacksonville, Florida. Since launching the church in 2012, he has led a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. In addition to providing The Church of Eleven22 with vision and leadership, Pastor Joby is an author, national and international preacher and teacher. He has been married to his wife, Gretchen, for over 20 years and they have a son, JP and a daughter, Reagan.
Charles Martin is a New York Times bestselling author of 17 novels, including his most recent, The Record Keeper. He has also recently authored three nonfiction works, What If It's True?,They Turned the World Upside Down, and Son of Man. His work has been translated into more than 35 languages.
