How can the Government, or any of its citizens, protect against an unseen enemy capable of this kind of destruction? In his hour of need, the President calls on the one man who may be able to bring down Hyperion, former Special Forces legend Jack Crockett, now an operative in a hidden government group. But just as Crockett begins to gain traction in his search for Hyperion, they launch another, even more shocking, threat than the one they've already carried out. Crockett must thwart Hyperion before it achieves its ultimate goal. But what is their end game and how much time does Crockett have left before they triumph? The clock is ticking.

About the Author :
D.P. Mitchell grew up in an obscure hamlet in the Catskill Mountains not far from where the Woodstock Festival was held. A high school graduate at age sixteen, Mitchell attended Vassar College, earning a degree in Chemistry after four hard fought years. That led unnaturally to a career in software building that had many twists and turns and eventually gave way to a longtime interest in writing. Mitchell lives on the Oregon Coast with his wife: a nurse, stained-glass artist, gourmet cook and book editor. They are managed by three challenging cats and interact with the herds of deer and elk that frequently show up in their backyard.
