Flawless!

Flawless is a character study of two siblings raised in the same home by the same parents whose lives are going in two totally different directions. They started out with the same foundation, love and parental care and inclusion, but somehow their value system comes into question for one of them. Their parents are struggling in their marriage which causes a rift throughout the family home where there was once abundant love and stability. The teens become aware that their parents' marital issues are taking a toll on what once was, and it affects them in very different ways. As if that weren't enough, the pressures of school, their peers, their church and their own bond cause challenges that put everything on the tip of an iceberg. The pendulum could swing to enlightenment or destruction for one of them. If they can hold on to the principles and values instilled in them from the beginning, and to one to another, the prodigal may be able to return to a humble existence and realize that it's not always the glitter and gold that need attention, but the soul. What you invite into your life has a tendency to stay, have a seat and get very comfortable.

About the Author :
T. E. Williams, married mother of 4 adult children was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey and was educated in Trenton schools and Trenton State College. Her inspiration to write Flawless was mostly due to the unfortunate rate of crime and murder in her beloved City. The many funerals she attended of the murdered young people prompted her to write and direct a community stage play to address some of the issues young people go through here and in many other urban areas such as peer pressure, suicide and loss. Her hope is to raise awareness, encourage them, and also to remind them that they truly are Flawless! Flawless, which was performed at the Mill Hill Playhouse, Passage Theater, boasted an all teen cast, some 30 young people and was produced by Donna D Wellons of W-IMG, and hosted by Yolanda Robinson of On the Reel Radio. They all gave up every single Saturday for half a year to practice for 3 hours to make the play successful! When the play was performed, March 25, 2016 for Resurrection Day (Easter), the play was sold out and is still in demand for a second show! The young people in and associated with Flawless should be commended for a performance no one will ever forget! It has now been converted into a novella. Mrs. Williams is a Born Again Christian and welcomes all audiences.
