About the Book

Download for FREE with Kindle Unlimited This is a 9,000 words EROTIC stand-alone story with an HEA, so no cliff-hangers! Lily Small is a world-renowned psychologist with a mission. She is to be sent to space in order to help interact with a newly found humanoid species. The CIA and NASA believe that her expertise in interpersonal communication will help the astronauts that have already arrived make headway on their peaceful mission. It is a space journey of many years, but she agrees. She wakes up to find that they are being kidnapped. Along with one other survivor, Commander Morris, she will have to use all of her skills in order to survive long enough for a rescue mission...nearly seventeen years. ---------------------------------------------------------- EXCERPT FROM BOOK Lily Small was small in name only. In stature, she stood a perfectly average five foot six, and in life she was a certified badass. At just twenty years old, she was the youngest Phd candidate in psychology in her graduating class at Stanford. She completed her doctoral program at the age of twenty three, and took a job working for the CIA. During her time at the CIA, she penned a bestselling and informative book on human behavior, particularly love. In addition to her psychological work, she made a number of scholarly contributions to the field of astrophysics and space travel. She was America's darling in the best way possible. She did not have a sextape, or even a boyfriend. She did not sing or play the guitar. She was first and foremost, a scientist. And one of the best ones in the world. Which is why on June 2nd, she dropped her coffee mug onto her kitchen floor as she watched her television. Her cat, Orion, was quick to lick the coffee from the broken shards of ceramic at his master's feet. Lily was starting her car and driving down the street before Orion noticed that she had gone. The cat looked up to find that the human had gone, and then continued about its day, unperturbed by this information. The reason Lily was driving much too quickly towards CIA headquarters was the news report she had just seen on TV. It was confirmed. Seventeen years earlier, a joint project between the CIA and NASA had launched ten brave astronauts into deep space in order to make contact with humanoid beings believed to be on a planet at the far reaches of our galaxy. NASA's satellite imaging confirmed what appeared to be human remains buried in the crust of the planet, which NASA had dubbed "Atlantis" due to its mostly watery surface. After a few years of analyzing the images, the joint project of sending astronauts to Atlantis began in earnest. The ten astronauts were the best in their field, and understood the relatively high risks of never returning. AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is a stand-alone story with an HEA, so no cliff-hangers! Story contains mature themes and language, and is intended for 18+ readers only.
