About the Book

It seems a day doesn't go by without the headlines screaming about another terrorist attack against innocent civilians, followed instantly by representatives of the current regime in Washington reminding us that Islam is a religion of peace and that terrorism has nothing to do with terrorism. The politicians involved must realize that they are giving aid and comfort to our enemies whenever they make such ridiculous claims. Islam in general and ISIS, in particular, has been actively celebrating Ramadan with a total of two hundred and thirty-eight terrorist attacks around the world resulting in one thousand eight hundred and fifty deaths. The religion of peace, uh huh right. My understanding is that the word they are translating to peace more accurately should be translated as submission. Not all Muslims are taking part in such violent barbarity, only the radical Muslims. Only those Muslims that firmly believe what the Qur'an teaches and strive to live their life by the words and example of their prophet take part in jihad. It is they who practice terrorism, it is they who crucify decapitate, or burn to death Christians. That is radical Islam. Of course, there are Muslims who were born into the religion, who just want to live their life. People who just want to go to work, provide for their families, attend mosque on Fridays and be left alone. Live and let live they might say. These I suppose would be called moderate Muslims. There is the equivalent in the Christian church. They were born into the faith, whether catholic or baptist, or Lutheran, or pentecostal, no matter the denomination. That is where there were born and that is where they have stayed. They go to church on Sundays listen to the sermon, but really are there the socialization, the coffee hour after service or the friendly chatting before. The sermon is just the price one pays to be a member of this club, not something to be taken seriously. Let's face it with many of the churches it is probably safer to ignore what is being taught from the pulpit nowadays as the churches have stumbled and fallen over themselves in the race to be more politically correct than the neighboring church down the block. These I suppose would be called moderate Christians. Christians that are neither hot nor cold, lukewarm Christians, the type of Christians Christ says he will spew out of his mouth because they are neither hot nor cold. The one point I need to make and am trying to make is that radical Muslims are on the increase, they are waging jihad as an act of worship. They see the terror they inflict on innocents as a service to their god. It is time Christians radically embrace their own Christian faith with the same fervor as the terrorists embrace theirs, but where do we begin?
