No More Tears!: Finding hope, healing and purpose in your pain

Have you experienced deep, gut-wrenching pain? Then this book is about you and for you. Whenever we have come through a particularly difficult trial, people sometimes remark, 'You are strong, ' and your initial response may be, 'No, I am not.' But really - women are emotionally stronger than men. Please let me explain. God formed man from the dust of the earth; He created us from Adam's rib. Which is stronger? That's my unorthodox reasoning. We may be soft and feminine on the outside, but on the inside, we are made of tough stuff! But here's why we are strong. God said to the serpent in Genesis 3:15, 'I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her Seed. He shall bruise your head and you shall bruise His heel.' This is a prophetic scripture about the battle that would ensue between the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of light. Since that moment in time, Satan has been trying to take women out, but God has given us a resilience and a strength to handle whatever circumstances come our way. We just know how to 'roll with the punches' and survive. Over time, we have mastered the art of covering up our pain and how to push through against all odds; what we have not learnt well, is how to heal. Recently, while attending a woman's seminar, the guest speaker spoke about how she had been verbally, emotionally and sexually abused at a young age. Her testimony exposed the bleeding hearts of many women in the audience, and that evening they streamed to the altar, weeping out their immense pain before the Lord. It was a scene I will never forget. The presence of the Lord was strong and it was clear that the women had buried their pain for too long. But that evening, God healed, delivered and restored. In the midst of that session I heard in my spirit: 'My daughters are hurting.' Immediately, the Holy Spirit downloaded the concept for this book: The Adversity (a fictional story of a woman dealing with a specific issue); the Appeal (her prayer to God); the Assurance (His response to her prayer); and the Action (my encouragement to you, the reader). This book shows the reality of what we women go through, and its purpose is to bring hope, healing and comfort to your hearts. The scenarios are fictional, but the stories are very real. Whether you are married, separated, single, divorced or widowed, you will identify with most of them, if not all. Even though a lot of our pain has come from the hands of men, it doesn't matter whether your pain comes from the hand of another or your own; God wants to heal and deliver you. Brace yourself ladies; some memories that you have buried so deep will come to the fore as you read this book. But as they resurface, give your pain over to the Lord, because He is waiting to forgive every sin, erase every mistake, heal every hurt and bind up every wounded heart. This is your season of deliverance and joy; this is your time for no more tears!

From the time she was a child, Paula had always dreamt of becoming an author. It took some time, but now her dream has come to pass.
