About the Book

ONE WOMAN. MANY IDENTITIES. ONE TARGET FOR REVENGE... 'Takes you straight into the collision course of two dynamic, complicated women' LAURA DAVE 'Its skilful narrative, research and structure meant that I read it right through in two sittings and within 24 hours. Julie Clark is a name to watch' SHOTS 'Brilliantly creative' PRIMA Meg Varnum. Maggie Littleton. Meg Upton. Different names for the same person, depending on the town, depending on the job. I'm not a con artist as much as an avenger. A righter of wrongs. But nothing about me is real, other than my desire to hold men like you accountable for the things you've done. I don't break any laws, and what I take is given willingly. I can't be blamed for how easy it is to manipulate you. It's a discipline involving confidence, cleverness, and deception. And now, I'm about to work my final trick . . . this time under my real name. Because when it's done, I want you to know who I am and remember what you did to me. Combining blistering pace with brilliant female characters, this is the unforgettable new thriller from the author of the international bestseller and number one ebook bestseller The Flight, called 'absolutely sensational!' by Jo Spain. Readers love The Lies I Tell! 'If you like a gripping, fast-paced thriller that will make you feel like you are watching a movie, with ambitious women as main characters ... then this book is one for you--worth five stars!' 'Grabs you from the beginning and stay with you throughout' 'I loved it ... I devoured it almost in one sitting' 'Julie Clark has knocked it of out of the park with this blisteringly perfect portrayal of revenge'

About the Author :
Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, Julie Clark grew up reading books on the beach while everyone else surfed. After attending college at University of the Pacific, and a brief stint working in the athletic department at University of California, Berkeley, she returned home to Santa Monica to teach. She now lives there with her two young sons and a golden doodle with poor impulse control. Her novel, The Flight is published in June 2020 by Hodder & Stoughton.

Review :
Intriguing...Clark skillfully fleshes out the strong, multifaceted characters. The story nicely mixes brisk plot points with slow burning reveals as it builds to a satisfying conclusion. Clark doesn't disappoint Impossible to put down from the first page Seductive and cerebral A meticulously plotted mind bender Smart, savvy and so duplicitous with . . . two of the most beguiling female characters I've ever met
