You will learn to design age appropriate, purposeful, and authentic learning opportunities for all learners, as well as engaging strategies to motivate students while also building classroom rapport. Each chapter in both sections contain; research based information about designing effective reading instruction, the importance of planning, examples of engaging activities, insightful strategies, tiered vocabulary, parent and home connections, pages for student reflections and note taking, and also suggested readings for both the teacher and students.
