Unleashed Chains

Hold onto your seats because you are about to step into the life of an innocent little girl whose childhood was almost stripped from her. Sandy was born into a two parent household. Her mother is Caucasian, Indian, and Creole and her father on the other hand is a black successful man who had the finer things and lived a lavish life. This alone was extremely difficult for Sandy because her mother took the trait of being considered bipolar and to live with a person who is happy one minute and cursed you out the next minute, is not easy for her to deal with alone. Sandy ran into a roadblock and was faced with adversity of having to deal with the divorce of her parents, seeking love from her mother, being bullied at home and school, to the molestation she couldn't escape. She cried out for help, silently, while dealing with the horrific experiences that seemed to weigh her down. Her only escape from the Unleashed Chains that plagued her life came at an early age, through her passion to play basketball and write poems about her life that dealt with her emotions so that she didn't have to deal with the chains that has yet to be Unleashed.

About the Author :
Lavenda Smith was born in Memphis, Tennessee. Throughout her struggles in childhood, relationships and life experiences, Lavenda has overcome the most difficult of times to flourish into a very faithful Spiritual and dedicated mother. Though faith, prayer, fasting and meditation she has learned to rely on the instructions of God. Lavenda Smith is a single mother of four children: Alfrado, Bria, Brian and Devin. She is an entrepreneur and recently began her own business, DABB ENTERPRISE LLC. DABB ENTERPRISE was inspired by her children and is named after them. Lavenda comes from a large divers family where she is the 16th child of 20 siblings. Lavenda began expressing herself through writing at the early age of five. Later, she was introduced to poetry and began expressing her feelings and thoughts through writing poems. Over the years, her struggles in childhood and challenges in relationships emerged her into a writer. She began recording her writings in a journal which expressed her most intimate thoughts. In the midst of her crying searching for answers, she would write. She found peace in this approach and as a result has published her first book of poetry, Reflection of My Past Restoration to My Present Revelation of My Future. She also published her first novel Unleashed Chains for which she was listed in the top 100 Best Sellers a day after publication. In this book, you will be able to define the pain she expresses through her writing and become to see her breakthrough as she continues her journey though the future.
