About the Book

Despite the countless books written on the subject of managing millennials (most often authored by non-millennials), no one has until now diagnosed the real issue of generational differences in the workplace: generations do not define themselves; their environment defines them. The five main traits attributed to millennials-entitled, lazy, disrespectful, needy and disloyal-are misguided assumptions that Kadakia argues are actually positive attributes that every business and industry should internalize. The five faults are in fact qualities of the evolved workplace and worker. Millennials are simply reflecting the fast-changing environment around them. Therefore, understanding millennials is not just about managing a generation; it is about seeing the future of business as changing at an exponential rate and making the necessary adjustments to remain vital and competitive.

About the Author :
Crystal Kadakia, the founder of Invati Consulting, is a speaker, author, and thought leader for millennial and multigenerational workplaces. She leads projects at several Fortune 500 companies and previously worked at Procter & Gamble as an engineering-project manager and a learning-and-development manager. Crystal's work has been recognized through a number of awards, including ATD's 2014 One to Watch Award. She is also a Huffington Post and Human Capital Institute blogger. Julie Eickhoff is a voiceover artist and an Audible Approved Producer who has been voicing audiobooks, commercials, training modules, web videos, and telephone systems for over a decade. Her broadcasting background and Midwestern dialect make her recordings compelling and easy to listen to.
