Carlos II Ocasio Diaz nacio en San Juan, Puerto Rico. Publico su primer libro a los dieciocho anos, el cual llego a encabezar la lista de los titulos mas vendidos a nivel Isla en prestigiosas librerias como Thekes, Bell, Book and Candle, Castlebooks y Borders, entre otras. En el 2005 su primera novela Abre la puerta gano el premio de mejor novela otorgado por el Pen Club Capitulo de Puerto Rico. Su primer libro de cuentos Triada de abril, publicado en el 2006, va por su tercera edicion; ademas, fue adaptado al teatro por el grupo estudiantil de la catedratica Nelly Bauza Echevarria en la Universidad de Puerto Rico en Utuado. Desde hace varios anos sus libros siguen siendo incluidos en los curriculos de varios profesores de las universidades mas importantes de Puerto Rico. En el 2015 toda su obra de cuentos (Triada de abril, Santura, De luna llena) fue traducida al ingles. La novela Mateo, que comenzo a escribir hace siete anos, sera publicada a finales del 2015. Carlos II Ocasio Diaz was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He published his first book at age eighteen, heading the list of best-selling books in prestigious bookstores islandwide including Thekes, Bell, Book and Candle, Castlebooks and Borders, among others. In 2005, his first novel Abre la Puerta won the award for Best Novel presented by Puerto Rico's Pen Club Chapter. Triada de Abril, his first collection of short stories published in 2006 - currently in its third edition - has been adapted for the stage by Professor Nelly Bauza Echevarria's student group at the University of Puerto Rico-Utuado Campus. For several years now, his books have been chosen by several professors to be included in their study curriculums at Puerto Rico's leading universities. In 2015, all of his short stories (Triada de Abril, Santura, De Luna Llena) have been translated into English. His novel Mateo, which he began writing seven years ago, will be published in late 2015."
