Review :
"Isaac Serrano's When Life Feels Empty is a timely and profoundly insightful work that challenges us to reexamine the roots of our discontent and rediscover what truly sustains a meaningful life. This book not only illuminates the depth of our modern struggles but also offers a hopeful, practical pathway to a life marked by purpose and fulfillment. It's a call to look upward—to see beyond the temporary and to seek what is eternal. It is a must-read for anyone yearning to experience true meaning amid life's uncertainties." "In an age that trades transcendence for transactions and mystery for materialism, Isaac Serrano unearths the ancient practices that have long anchored humanity. With a surgeon's precision and a shepherd's heart, he exposes the void in our modern soul and offers timeless remedies to weave us back into God's grand narrative. When Life Feels Empty doesn't just reveal the ache in our culture—it heals it, turning hevel into hallelujah." "We live in an age of perpetual dissatisfaction. What 'is' always feels disappointing when compared with what 'could be,' and we find ourselves exhausted on the hedonic treadmill, always chasing, never arriving. But the answer to our angst is found in what 'always has been.' With cultural precision and pastoral wisdom, Isaac Serrano guides us across our history as the people of God and leads us into a future of meaning, purpose, and joy. For any and all seeking a life of fulfillment, When Life Feels Empty is the guidebook you've been searching for." "There doesn't seem to be a more intense time period where so many are disillusioned, tired, emotionally overloaded, and wondering what life is really about. It feels like it is easier to just give up thinking about it and hope that somehow change will happen to bring us movement into something more than we are currently experiencing. When Life Feels Empty is a guide for that change to happen and gives us tangible ways to move from emptiness to meaning and purpose the way we are meant to experience them." "The gravitational pull of this book, from its opening pages, draws us through a clear-eyed view of the despair of our world into a hope that can only emerge from a deep reckoning of truth. With philosophical reasoning, theological insights, and compelling wisdom, Isaac Serrano leaves us looking into the face of a good and grand God." "Isaac Serrano's very lively, readable volume is a marvelous contemporary application of the book of Ecclesiastes, whose enduring value is reinforced yet again. Serrano's life experience, keen pastoral insights, and pointed practical engagement with real issues in our culture make this a penetrating, thought-provoking work on life's meaning for our day and age."
