About the Book

Unavoidably Unsafe for Adultscritically examines the safety, effectiveness, and regulatory oversight of adult vaccines, empowering readers to make informed decisions about their health.

In an era of rising skepticism and urgent questions about vaccine safety, Unavoidably Unsafe for Adultsdelivers a bold, physician-led examination of the risks and benefits of adult immunization. Drawing on decades of clinical experience and the latest research, Drs. Edward Geehr and Jeffrey Barke scrutinize the rapid expansion of adult vaccine recommendations, the impact of emergency authorizations, and the growing disconnect between public health messaging and patient concerns.

With the national spotlight on vaccine safety-from COVID-19 mRNA shots to new RSV and influenza vaccines-Geehr and Barke guide readers through the complex landscape of federal policy, regulatory shortcuts, and the pressures faced by both patients and providers. They reveal how legislative acts and regulatory changes have shifted the balance of power toward pharmaceutical interests, often at the expense of true informed consent.

This essential guide empowers adults and caregivers to ask the right questions, understand the science, and make vaccination decisions with confidence. Unavoidably Unsafe for Adultsis an urgent call for transparency, critical thinking, and patient-centered care in a rapidly evolving medical world.

Review :
Praise for Unavoidably Unsafe for Adults:

"Drs. Geehr and Barke have done it again, but this time for adult vaccines. A must read."-Del Bigtree

"Why do adults need vaccines? Are they safe? Do they work and for how long? Adults all over the world are asking these questions with the rapidly expanding array of products offered to prevent infections. With clarity, Drs. Geehr and Barke peel back the burgeoning adult immunization schedule and critique medical necessity, clinical indication, risks, and theoretical benefits. For most people navigating primary care, this book is essential reading to be prepared for intelligent conversations with doctors and nurses when vaccines come up."-Peter A. McCullough, MD, MPH, Author of Courage of Face COVID-19 and Vaccines

"As one of Dr. Jeff Barke's grateful patients, I can personally attest to his rare combination of medical expertise and personal integrity. During the COVID-19 scare, he was my trusted go-to doctor--steady, clear-headed, and always willing to listen. He provided not just excellent care for me and my family, but reassurance and truth when it was hard to find. In this book, Drs. Barke brings that same principled approach to a complex and timely issue. His commitment to informed consent and patient empowerment reflects the kind of doctor--and man--he is. I trust him with my health, and I trust his voice in this important national conversation."-Kirk Cameron, actor, author, evangelist, television host, documentarian and producer

"This book is not an anti-vaccine treatise. Rather, it is cautionary work to encourage the reader to reconsider what he has been told about adult vaccines, to not blindly accept the narrative peddled by the media and the pharmaceutical industry. It is a tool to empower you, the patient, to make full use of your informed consent, to protect yourself and make the correct medical decision. As I am fond of saying, think for yourself, or others will think for you. And they will not be thinking of you. Use this book to achieve that goal."-Mark McDonald, M.D., author of United States of Fear

"Drs. Geehr and Barke's newest book is a vital resource for adults and caregivers seeking clarity on vaccines. It delivers well-researched insights into vaccine risks, presented in an easy-to-understand format. The book empowers readers to make truly informed choices by equipping them with tools to resist pressure from doctors pushing annual vaccinations. A must-have for anyone wanting to confidently navigate vaccine decisions with knowledge and conviction."-Dr. Shannon Kroner, author of Let's Be Critical Thinkers and I'm Unvaccinated and That's OK!

"Drs. Jeff Barke and Edward Geehr have done an amazing book here, full of all the factual knowledge you need with his easy-to-understand delivery. It may not be politically correct, but it is well researched and from the heart, and I will recommend this book to everyone."-Will Witt, cultural commentator and bestselling author

"Unavoidably Unsafe for Adults is a must-read for anyone serious about informed consent and medical freedom. Drs. Geehr and Barke pull back the curtain on the pharmaceutical agenda and expose the hidden risks of routine adult vaccinations. As a board-certified cardiologist who champions natural health, I applaud this powerful, well-researched challenge to the status quo. This book will empower you to take control of your health without blind trust in the system." -Dr. Jack Wolfson, the natural cardiologist, America's #1 natural heart doctor
