·discussion questions, activity boxes, thought points and suggestions for further reading
·practical ideas on study skills, essay-writing and assessment objectives

Developments in Christian Thought for OCR provides a clear, accessible and comprehensive introduction to each of the topics on the course, including Augustine on human nature, death and the afterlife, knowledge of God’s existence, the person of Jesus Christ, Christian moral principles, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, religious pluralism and theology, religious pluralism and society, gender and society, gender and theology, the challenge of secularism, liberation theology and Marx.

Review :

"This comprehensive book will be much welcomed by students and teachers of the Christian Thought section of the OCR course. Content is explained clearly, has academic rigour, and will help students to achieve high grades whilst also provoking stimulating classroom discussion."
Celia Brace, Bolton School

"It is not surprising that Brown and Greggs' latest addition to their A Level textbook range is of the same excellent quality. A wealth of clear detail, exercises and case studies."
Charles Haydn-Slater, Head of Department, St Mary's School

"Like Polity's other A Level Religious Studies books, Developments in Christian Thought maintains a greater sense of academic rigour than the other textbooks on the market."
Nicholas Heap, Eton College
