About the Author :
Isabel Ibarra escritora Argentina-americana. En su juventud estudi enfermera y una tecnicatura en Kinesiologa. Aos despus estudi arte en la Escuela Honorio Pueyrredon de Buenos Aires. Comenz sus estudios superiores en la Facultad de Abogacia de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, pero con el brusco cambio poltico y econmico en Argentina en el ao 2001 emigr a Miami, Estados Unidos. Continu estudiando en el Miami Dade College donde se conoci con algunos pintores, escritores y guionistas de la comunidad latina en Miami donde desarroll su primer trabajo literario llamado: Mi padre y yo. Continu sus estudios superiores, en Revelation Teological University de Miami gradundose con un Bachelor en Teologa, un Bachelor de Clinical Counseling y Master en Clinical Counseling. Aos despus dio imnumerables seminarios y conferencias relacionado con la tica ministerial para pastores y leader de iglesias de diferente denominaciones. Viaj varias veces a Israel buscando nuevos temas religiosos para escribir y se encontr ensendole a los beduinos del desierto como prevenir enfermedades y primeros auxilios. El contacto con el desierto y los prolongado viajes a Tierra Santa le cambi la vida, dice la escritora. La experiencia laboral ms inspiradora fue trabajar en la Base Area Americana de Homestead en Miami donde funcionaba un shelter de jvenes refugiados de Centroamrica. Este libro es el fruto de la imnumerables peticiones de estos jvenes que olvidaban su tragedia leyendo y escuchando los diferentes cuentos e historias relatadas por la protagonista de esta obra. Un periodista le pregunt a la escritora, De dnde saca usted los temas para escribir? Y ella le respondi, mi vida es una novela.
