We're movers and shakers. Mammoth change makers. Friends. Learners. Achievement earners.
An icebreaker and friend-maker, We Are a Class is an inclusive, aspirational story to be read aloud responsively, collectively, or as spoken-word performance. In rhyming verse, We Are a Class is a pledge, a commitment, a promise among the members of a single class and every class.
Perfect for the first day, the 100th day, the final day, and any day of school.

Review :
"The pictures show a fun and caring atmosphere, where everyone is busy working with and helping each other. The main point is that everyone--including the teachers--is different.... A fitting book to set a positive tone for the first day of school, and a fabulous story for homes, classrooms, and libraries." --School Library Journal
"Offering warm, embracing assurance that the reader will feel comfortable and safe in a new classroom, it's a welcoming title for first days and any day." --Publishers Weekly
"An enthusiastically inclusive treatise for kids wondering--or worrying--about what to expect from school." --Kirkus Reviews
