About the Book

All three parts of the acclaimed trilogy (The Red and Savage Tongue, Dominic's Quest and Badon Hill) available in one edition. The Red And Savage Tongue Rome had abandoned Britannia, leaving its people undefended. Anglo Saxon warriors, previously employed as mercenaries, now saw themselves as conquerors. The scene was set, as more war bands crossed the North Sea to take British gold, slaves, and land. One Briton, alone in the forest, wanting only to live as a hunter and trapper, was about to have his life changed forever. Dominic would become the hope of abandoned Britons. Dominic the wolf slayer would become the nemesis of any evil that entered his forest realm. Dominic's Quest Ranulf, the Saxon, was a callous raider. Griff, the Briton, a heartless profiteer. Both were driven by a lust for gold. Their business was slaves; in particular, slave children who commanded a high price in Hibernia. But Ranulf had raided too deeply into the west; had taken children precious beyond mere gold. Worse still, he had taken from Arthur's people, and Arthur did not tolerate thieves. Arthur turned to the one man in Britannia with the guile to follow the intricate slave trail-he turned to Dominic, and so set him upon his incredible journey through the dark, unforgiving lands of Britannia and Hibernia. Badon Hill The Saxons had conquered South East Britannia, but the lands further west had always eluded them. Repeatedly, they had tried to break Arthur's dominance of the West Country, but to no avail. Arthur and his stronghold of Brythonfort were a breakwater upon which the Saxon threat always faltered. But now things were different; now they had forged an alliance with a rogue British tribe and the ruthless Guertepir; now they could attack in great numbers and draw Arthur from his bastion. Their immediate goal was the restored spa town of Aquae Sulis. Above the town, the high ground of Badon Hill awaited. Here, the battle would make the ground shake. Here, the conflict would forge the destiny of Britannia once and for all.
