About the Book

I AM PROCESS is the autobiography of George Keeling. His career involved him deeply in many of the key developments in computers that have brought us so rapidly from books, letters, memos and libraries to the integrated world of knowledge on the Internet that we know today. As well as his computer skills, George Keeling is knowledgeable on cosmology, gay culture, world history and the science of the mind. His premise is that process is the key to this revolution -- as previously charted by Fukuyama and then Pinker. He suggests that process has transformed the world, shows where it has been abused, how it has transformed his mind and how this has led him to propose a revision of the history of intelligence and the Universe. What they said "This is a very original book that defies easy categorisation. I found it unexpectedly enjoyable even some of George's idiosyncratic advice on "how to live" . George writes very entertainingly and I hugely enjoyed his voice in the book. It's very funny in places, and the writing has a sort of manic energy which sweeps the reader along." Jenni Mills, author, writing expert and ghost writer for David Frost and Terry Wogan. Draft 1, October 2013 (4 pages) "What a great project! Go for it, George! I can't wait for more." Bruce Schnitzer veteran New York merchant banker. Draft 3, December 2013 "I read. I laughed. I went.. huh? Give me more, and make it shine" Marcus X. Manuscript 0, July 2014 "It is written in plain English," Sami, owner Aqua "Very pleased to read your stuff. Amazing to have these thoughts already in 1986 ... Yes, you were the first to do it. I agree that, to a certain extent, what you did was critical for the Internet." Marc Kerremans, Research Director at Gartner Inc.
