The Stellar Diver That Would. Expanded Edition.

Several general diver scenarios have been presented. Stellar and Quasar diver space-craft are in principle capable of extremely high gamma factors. When exotic mass and energy effects are employed, the gamma factors can be enhanced in principle to canonical ensemble values. Such exotic effects may plausibly include parallel history energy extraction and inertial mass reduction perhaps enabled by partial Higgs field reduction in the space proximate to and occupied by the spacecraft as it accelerates. Perhaps given the rigorous evidence supporting a maximum energy and signal propagation speed equal to the speed of light in vacuu, visionary relativistic astronautics physicists and engineers may best reframe their mantra to not focus on how fast a spacecraft can travel in the background reference frame. Instead, focus should likely be placed on the effective superluminal velocity of virtual background reference frame light-speed capable spacecraft in the spacecraft reference frame as a result of time dilation. It is not nearly so much of a question of how fast the spacecraft can travel as it is a matter of how far a spacecraft can travel through space and forward in time for alive and awake crew members. Since universal expansion in some big bang cosmology models continues forever, spacecraft having traveled far enough from their points of origin will in reality eventually recede from mission initiation locations at superluminal velocities relative to the point of origin. The reason for the superluminal displacement is the expansion of space-time between the distant craft and its point of origin. For an infinite and eternal universe with spatial interval specific expansion rates that are finite for finite intervals, the bounding limit in the depths of future physical eternity for spacecraft recessional velocity from their point of origin is indefinably infinite. Truly, even if the local speed limits are limited to values no faster than light-speed in vacuu, wonderfully far-out space-craft transport phenomenon are possible. There is and will be no cause for boredom for physicists, engineers, and the entire population of Humanity for any light speed limits if for no other reasons than those provided above.
