About the Book

Son Of The Anarchy, a series of novels by Terry Dwayne Ashford, starts with part one "Lay My Burden Down," as Willington Rashid Rowe separates himself from misery and childhood experiences. The 32 year old man finds life in a good time after chaos in the city of Bedlam. Living high on the hog, and finding contentment finally, he was still learning to move graciously beyond his early life experiences, childhood flashbacks haunts him. The celebration - of survival that abruptly comes to an end. Jealousy. Hate. Envy. Secrecy. A family setup to use good for evil, in the bible belt, down south in Bucknort Mississippi, they learned that Willington had come out of the closet. With their high powered help and holier than thou christian mentality, they set out to destroy, destruct and steal - and to take his life as their own. But, wait, Mama Rowe loved all her children - even the gay one. "No." Sibling's new mentality motivated the father and siblings, to destroy Willington's last Will-in- Testament to live. In the center of the Bible belt, where being gay was seen as an act of deviance - Gay love was nothing more than sexual promiscuity. Threatening phone calls, bribes and offerings showed up at their doorsteps to teach Willington a lesson and Mama Rowe too for helping him to live. Papa Rowe, Estelle and brother Charles accepted the bribe - Greed, Revenge, Life-long resentment. "Her land and his intellectual value as an apprentice, you will not have to want for anything. If you just let us kill them. All of this will be yours," said the king of the CB Gang, lead by Thaddeus Xander Trott. "I am the king" he often gloated. Mama Rowe's 160 acres of land was up for grabs and a dream began of a cattle farm emerged. Willington's sales from a new business came up for bargain and siblings dreams to be him and take all that was his rose to new heights. They would get his Mercedes Benz convertible, a BMW convertible and more than fifty thousand dollars of furnishing in his three bedroom condo along with his career, his friends and his ways of life. All would be theirs, "If you help us take their life," said the king Trott. They all sat in a meeting pulling leaves off a clover "to sacrifice or to not, to kill or let live." Then brother, Charles Leon spoke out of turn and made the deciding opinion and all consented. "How dare they learn to be okay in his own skin, not even I have learned that yet. Yes, I want his living - high in the sky in luxury, hell yeah," brother charles said holding nothing inside any longer, for he had held his jealousy long enough. "Kill his little faggot ass." Willington would be brought home and made a slave as a punishment for living a dream. "His dream" that was out of sync with "their dream" for him. Tragedy hit harder, when Mama Rowe was betrayed with slander, told she was saving Willington's life. Any mother who loves her own would try to save her son. But Mama Rowe learns that the plot was fake, the gang were not saving a life, but taking her son's life. She backed out. The gang's network, conspiracy expanded and was out to take two lives. But Mama Rowe thought, "I am Mamma - and they surely love and won't kill me." The extremist neo-nazi group led Papa Rowe as he had been a lifetime member, said nope, "you may be mama but you have to go too." Papa Rowe agreed to murder Mama Rowe and use siblings to help and hide it as she was simply trying to save her gay son. Series "Son of the Anarchy" part one "Lay My Burden Down" ends after the death of Mama Rowe while Willington was near homeless at the hands of the cult that wrecked havoc on his life. Part two "Can't Stop My Hustle," picks up where "Lay My Burden Down" ends (available) while Part three, "Disguised in the City of Bedlam" is due to be released May 17th, 2014.

About the Author :
Terry Dwayne Ashford is a Writer, Novelist, Journalist who was born in a rural town in Mississippi. Ashford has always held the most vulnerable, close to his heart. After the passing of his own mother, Ms. Wilma G. Ashford, peace, joy and happiness came in helping others, seeing all of us living quality lives acceptable to being happy. The feeling of assisting the needy became more intense with her process of dying, the witness to pain, helped me to walk in her shoes trying to help her. I realized that the poor, disabled, the handicap, who were misused, abused, and hurt - their lives suffer unnecessarily due to lack of support and understanding. By putting ourselves in the shoes of others we can not only ween understanding, but our actions will reflect in the horizon which was opened by walking in their shoes. After years in corporate America and finding success, social beliefs began to cause problems. Caring too much, they said, about people and forgetting the reasons for being there. It's about the money, they said. but lives were being lost. Terry Dwayne Ashford began to write as a way of promoting peace, understanding and to render an option for us all to take the win win attitude that "the world is big enough for all of us." His career was pushed by his heart to help others live more quality driven lives vicariously through reading. Terry Dwayne Ashford, studied Management Information Systems at the University of Memphis, TN and Journalism at Georgia State University, Atlanta GA. His work can be found published in the Atlanta Daily World Newspaper, The Southern Voice Newspaper, The Signal at Georgia State University, The Washington AFRO American Newspaper, The Baltimore AFRO American Newspaper, The Prince George's Gazette, and Black Engineering and Technology Magazine.
