About the Book

The Holiday Trilogy is the brainchild of three talented housewives: Anne Gilbert, Camille McCabe, and Maria B. Morales. Camille (the inspiration for all our original projects) and Anne wrote the script and lyrics. Maria, an accomplished pianist, composed the music to the three songs that accompany the three individual books. This multitalented trio have written, staged, and produced many children's productions. From these productions, a bevy of talented and beautiful children emerged. This prompted Maria to become manager and owner of Sunshine Talent Reps. Inc., representing infants to teens for television, stage, and screen. Many of these children went on to fame and stardom. An entire show, Hi, Mom, What's New?, was written by Camille, along with Isabel Kaskel, a wife and mother who wrote many articles and plays, and Maria. Camille and Isabel wrote the script and lyrics, and Maria composed the entire musical score. The show was previewed off-off Broadway. Camille, a graduate of Mount St. Vincent University, went on to get her master's in history. Her lifelong passion was teaching children of all levels, and she completed her career as the principal of a private elementary/high school. Anne graduated from DePauw University in Indiana with a bachelor's degree. At a small private school in New York, she spent twenty years as a sixth-grade teacher, as well as an eighth-to-twelfth-grade social studies teacher and administrator. After retiring from education, she attended graduate school at Hofstra University, earning her master's degree, with distinction, in gerontology. She authored a book, Beating the Clock: A Life of Active Aging, with the assistance of her son. She also has a daughter, two grandchildren, and two great-grandsons who reside in England. Maria was a graduate of PS 21 and Washington Irving High School. She now boasts twenty great-grandchildren. She has left a legacy of many original compositions. Camille, Anne, and Maria have earned their families' admiration, respect, and love with their original, creative ideas.
