About the Book

"In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on." - Robert Frost It Goes On is a family fiction piece involving three once-close grown siblings - Annabel, Jackson, and Maggie - who have grown apart after having lost both their parents within a short amount of time. Nearly a year passes before they come together again believing they are going to finalize their parents' affairs. Instead, they find the first letter from their beloved mom. The letter provides comfort, advice and a plan: Annabel, Jackson and Maggie are to take a one-month sabbatical from their lives and go on a round-the-world whirlwind trip that their mother and father planned and paid for just before their deaths. Each sibling has a different reaction to the proposal. Spirited and adventurous Annabel is ready to pack her bags and leave out immediately. Brilliant, athletic and jocular Jackson does what he normally does: runs. Beautiful, soulful, new-mother Maggie buries herself even deeper inside her "cave" of depression. Months later, however, a series of events leads to the reunion of the trio and the journey begins. Along the way, the siblings scatter the ashes of their dearly-departed parents, find clues to their next destinations, rebuild bonds with one another that they had as children and find peace, hope and the ability to heal.

About the Author :
Mitzi spent her childhood years writing adorable little family stories for her parents, her teenage years writing comedies for her friends and her college and young adult years writing sports for newspapers. Now she is living her life's dream as a published author of one complete novel that contains glimpses of each of those genres. As an avid reader, Mitzi enjoys peeking into the imaginations of others but proudly lists The Holy Bible as her favorite book. Mitzi currently lives on a 79-acre farm in southern Indiana with her husband, four children, her mother, two dogs, nine cows, three goats and twelve chickens. (Coming soon: two little piggies.) Currently working on her second book, Mitzi considers herself the Taylor Swift of novels, so watch out, you just may find yourself as one of the characters!(less)
