About the Book

If you love yourself as much as your mother loved you, when you were a baby, would you ever suffer again? Special men and women of the Pleistocene were naturally selected to stock the future generations of humans - special because they became us. Need we look further than the next human being we see to be reassured that a little piece of us exists in every human? Child care lies squarely at the core of human values. How we raise and educate our children is directly related to how we treat each other. The mother child relationship, primarily, and the mother father relationship, secondarily, gives birth to all of our human aspirations. One plus one equals three is a higher math. We know precious little about women and because of that we can't know men in great depth. Though most every field of inquiry is male oriented, men are assumed to operate free of women influence which is impossible. Any question about one gender must be answered by both genders to have validity. In What's Love Got To Do With It I attempt to broaden the Mars and Venus theme in order to deepen our understanding of Individuals, couples and basically anyone who knows someone of the opposite gender. On a loftier scale we need a practical understanding of instincts to positively influence our institutions including the mental health field, and perhaps science, industry and politics. Personally, we need a good reason for making the effort to disobey our instinctual drives (if we chose.) When we control our instincts all we have left is free will. The payoff is big. When you stop being concerned about children you stop being relevant. Man's search for meaning is as far as the nearest woman and child. The answer to a woman's fear is as near as the object of her love

About the Author :
What there is to say about me is through my wife, my sons, my patients, and the stuff I think about most all days. My curiosity grows like my age about the human potential and I can tell you we have barely scratched the surface. I still wait for the wisdom to descend that will clarify everything. If it comes to you please share it with me.
