About the Book

The Creation and Flood narrative meticulously recorded in the Bible is authentic and historically significant. https: //www.smashwords.com/books/view/178219 http: //www.amazon.com/How-Things-REALLY-Began-ebook/dp/B00BIV8GT2 Did Life Begin Accidentally? Even as casual observers of flora and fauna we can see an underlying pattern in life around us. The continuous cycle of day and night ruled over by the sun and moon and the rotating seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter have a sense of orderliness about them. All this surely cannot be down to mere chance. Try taking a box full of children's interlocking building blocks and throwing them up in the air. Even if you repeated the test a billion times, what are the chances that on landing they will accidentally form the shape of a house, car, animal or boat? It is highly unlikely that more than a couple of blocks would even link together, let alone create anything recognisable. Yet this is what evolutionists are telling us actually happened, to bring us and our world into existence with its amazing loveliness, complexity and harmony! Just by taking an unprejudiced gaze around us we find it hard to deny the possibility of an infinite, lawgiving, healing Designer-Creator with an eye for beauty and a caring heart. With such a one looking out for us there is no cause for pessimism! Excerpt ... Peleg, whose name means division, was born 230 years after the Flood, and it's not clear whether his name indicates the splitting up of people groups, land mass or both, but during those two centuries the after-effects of whatever catastrophe produced the Flood would have been continuing. We may conjecture that initially the ocean and river movements were massive in intensity, carving what was originally one great landmass into large and small islands. It's possible the phenomenon scientists refer to as CPT (Catastrophic Plate Tectonics) was violently happening at this time. Australia would have been disconnected from Asia, and New Zealand from Australia. The whole Australian Continent and all the other continents and islands would have been pushed and pulled in various directions until eventually the drifting settled down and tailed off into what we just call erosion today. The early chapters of the Bible record how Noah's offspring multiplied and became large tribes that began spreading out over the world. Marsupials would have been bounding their way to Australia and Noah's Aboriginal descendants would also have been heading in that direction. If Pangaea, the world's original single land mass, was dividing into continents and islands when Peleg was born 230 years after the Flood ...
