About the Book

Protect Amanda. Stop Deeds. It wasn't until it all fell apart that Nicolas Teague realized what it would take to keep his world from falling apart. His mission was to protect his daughter Amanda and to stop the terrorist Deeds from accomplishing his goals. But he failed, and Amanda died. Now all he has left is his mission to stop Deeds' plans from causing any more destruction. But Deeds knows a secret. Deeds knows the truth about Nicolas, about Amanda, and about the event that started it all. Nick must race to learn the truth about the terrorist who murdered his daughter if he ever hopes to fulfill his mission. Protect Amanda. Stop Deeds. See what other readers are saying: "If I were to point to the perfect framework for what a "page-turner" looks like, I'd point right here. From the first sentence to the last, Deeds episode 1 is virtually impossible to put down. The author has crafted something incredibly original and gripping here, seamlessly blending hard drama, classic mystery, and crime thriller together in an intense adrenaline-shot of a story." - filmmaker Tyler Hiott "It has all the right elements suspense, fear, sympathy, romance, evil and good conflict throughout. All these elements are woven into an intriguing thriller mystery that kept me guessing!" - Kathy Goodwin "Wow. That is the expression I am left with after being teased with this amazing first episode of the grander story that is yet to come! I am blown away by the intentional and real descriptions, the intense plot, and the sense of hidden connections within the plot yet to come." - Ian Huxham

About the Author :
Story. That's pretty much it, right? We all want a story, whether it be a fictional story where we jump into the lives of people we've never met and who never really existed at all, or a story of our own, where we are living a grand tale and we are our own hero. I like story, in all its forms. I like my stories a lot, and that's why I share them. I like your stories, too, the ones where you have triumphed or suffered or stepped into situations that you didn't quite understand. It's why I write. I want to tell my own stories, sure, but I also want to be able to step into your own stories and be a part of your life as well. If you are here with me, you are a friend. And if you'll bend your ear to hear my stories, I will love you forever. OK, maybe that's taking it a step too far. I live in Texas with my wife and two dogs, hammering away at the keys as we speak. Texas has a lot of things in it that I like, but Shelly is the best of them. Every guy should have a girl like her, but if they did I wouldn't be able to know just how wonderfully fortunate I am to have found her and wedded her after seven great years of friendship. People who know me are often surprised that I'm as much an introvert as I am, because I love people. My background is in teaching and counseling young people and helping kids navigate life (thirteen-plus-years, in fact). That's the reason I'm in this business-if anyone can benefit from the words I put to the page, then it is all worth it. I'm here for the long game, and looking forward to writing books that reach people in surprising ways. You see, I believe that writing is a life-changing medium. When thoughts are breathed to live through words founded on a solid understanding of the world, lives can be improved. This is true not just even in fiction, but especially through fiction. Life is bettered through vicarious experience, and I aim to provide experiences that will both thrill and dig deep into the dark places of the soul. If you're interested in entering my world, be forewarned: though I'm a really really nice guy on the outside, my writing delves into some of the darker parts of fiction. People get hurt. Heroes go through dark trials. Evil has a face, and a lot of times it looks just like you. But hey, if epic struggles between heroes and the darkest parts of humanity are your shtick, then welcome to the club!
