About the Author :
Neil Gaiman is an English author of short fiction, novels, comic books, graphic novels, audio theatre and films. His notable works include the comic book series The Sandman and novels Stardust, American Gods, Coraline and The Graveyard Book. He has won numerous awards, including the Hugo, Nebula and Bram Stoker awards, as well as the Newbery and Carnegie medals. He is the first author to win both the Newbery and the Carnegie medals for the same work, The Graveyard Book (2008). In 2013, The Ocean at the End of the Lane was voted Book of the Year in the British National Book Awards. Julian Rhind-Tutt is a British actor who trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, where he won the Carleton Hobbs Bursary Award. On stage he has appeared at the Royal National Theatre and The Royal Court. On film he can be seen in Luc Besson’s Lucy, Stardust, Notting Hill, The Trench, Rush, Aaaaagh and Napoleon, while on TV he is best known for Britannia (Sky Atlantic) and Dr. Mac in the BAFTA-winning Green Wing. Julian has narrated numerous audiobooks including the Russian classic The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov, The Cement Garden by Ian McEwan and Fever Pitch by Nick Hornby. Adjoa Andoh is a British film, television, stage and radio actress. She is a familiar face on British television – starring in two series of Doctor Who, BBC's long-running medical drama Casualty and popular soap opera EastEnders – and has more recently appeared as Lady Danbury in the Netflix series Bridgerton. A renowned stage actor, Andoh has been celebrated for lead roles at the National Theatreand the Royal Shakespeare Company, where she played Portia in Julius Caesar, Ulysses in Troilus & Cressida and Helen of Troy in The Odyssey. In 2019 she conceived, co-directed, and played Richard II at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, in the UK’s first all women-of-colour production. She made her Hollywood debut in 2009, starring alongside Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon in Clint Eastwood’s biographical sports film Invictus. Other film appearances include Adulthood, Brotherhood, and I Is A Long Memoried Woman. Andoh has been a BBC radio actor for more than 30 years and is an accomplished and award-winning narrator of more than 150 audiobooks, including Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Naomi Alderman’s The Power and all of the No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency series of novels by Alexander McCall Smith. Andoh won the Audie Award for Audiobook of the Year for #10 in that series, Tea Time for the Traditionally Built. In 2023 Andoh was elected an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and was on the judging panel for the 2023 Booker Prize. John Sessions is a British actor and comedian. He is known for comedy improvisation in television shows such as Whose Line Is It Anyway?, as a panellist on QI and as a character actor in numerous films, both in the UK and in Hollywood. Maloney is a British film, television and stage actor. He has featured in major films such as The Young Victoria alongside Emily Blunt, Notes on a Scandal with Cate Blanchett and Judi Dench, and Kenneth Branagh's 1989 adaptation of Henry V. He has a host of TV appearances under his belt including the ITV/Netflix series Paranoid (2016) and long-running drama Casualty (2010). He is also a prolific and engaging audiobook narrator. A versatile Scottish actor, Peter's clear, bright and engaging voice has been heard on a wide range of projects from commercials to corporates, documentaries to many audiobooks including The Lewis Man trilogy by Peter May. Lara Pulver is an English actress. She played Erin Watts in the British BBC spy drama Spooks, and Irene Adler on BBC's TV adaptation Sherlock. Niamh Walsh is an actress, known for Holby City (1999), Send in the Clowns (2015) and Rat Trap (2012).
