About the Book

His Christmas Proposal - Lucy Clark GP Thomasena Bates wants a fresh start for herself and her son--and she finds it in the tiny Outback town of Blaytent Springs, where she meets local doctor and single dad Ben Caruthers. Dishy Ben and his lively daughter Matilda are just what Thomasena needs. Slowly, the warm, laid-back pace of the Springs community--with an added dose of Ben's irresistible charm--begins to feel like home. Ben intends to give Thomasena the magical festive experience she's always longed for... By saving his special surprise until Christmas Day Ben hopes to make Thomasena his very own bride under the mistletoe! A Doctor's Christmas Family - Meredith Webber Dr. Esther Shaw, called home to Australia to battle a serious medical emergency, meets the last person she expects: Dr. Bill Jackson -- her ex-husband! What is he doing here? Bill was looking for Esther. But now he's managing a potentially deadly epidemic, taking care of an adorable baby -- and trying to understand his beautiful, loving ex-wife and her painfully guarded heart. Can Bill persuade Esther to fall in love with him again? Christmas in the Outback - Leah Martyn Dr. Liam Donovan is desperate for a new partner at his Outback practice. So desperate that he's even prepared to take on his ex-wife! It's been six years since their divorce and, though Liam has never stopped wanting Nikki Barrett, he's sure they can work together--as partners in a strictly medical sense. Except that it isn't that easy. Because, amid the demands and dramas of medicine in the Outback, Nikki and Liam are remembering exactly why they fell in love in the first place....

About the Author :
Leah Martyn spent her youthful years in rural Queensland. And although these days she lives happily with her husband, Peter, in a regional city, she insists she is still a country girl at heart. From a very early age, she showed an aptitude for writing and when her family of three had grown and flown off, about their own business, she relished the opportunity to undertake a professional writing course. Success in literary competitions followed and winning a major prize for short fiction spurred her on to try her hand at a longer work. This turned out to be a sweet romance for Harlequin Mills & Boon. And although the editor for this line was encouraging, the story was rejected. Months later, Leah discovered Medical romances and was instantly hooked. There down-to-earth characters and exciting storylines made page-turning reading. This, she thought was the kind of stuff she wanted to write. So, A Country Calling was born, completed and sent off to Harlequin UK. This time around, the senior editor for the Medical line was fulsome in her praise, describing the writing as "a fresh voice." And yes! They had accepted the manuscript! Exercise is an important part of Leah's day. So early morning walks when the air is crisp and clear are routine before she heads off to her computer to see what her characters are up to. For relaxation and a change of scene, she loves the beach and the mountains, visiting wineries - and tasting the wine of course - and attending plays put on by her local Little Theatre. Community is very important to Leah. With this in mind, she volunteers as a visitor's guide at the art gallery run by her local city council. Besides being great fun, she maintains that it's a fantastic way to meet interesting folk and gather research material for her stories. Although, she's now written a number of books for Harlequin, she still feels a great sense of achievement and excitement when the advance copies of her latest book arrive. And these days with her books translated into many languages, Leah says it's heart-stopping to think her stories are being enjoyed by readers all over the world. She draws on her experience of country life as the setting for many of her Medicals. After all, with a handsome new doctor in town, the possibilities for romance are endless indeed...
