About the Book

This is essentially a book dealing with the subject of Futurology in religion. It is based on the life and the prophecies of the seventeenth Century Telugu Saint from Southern India, by name, Pothuluru Veera Brahmendra Swami. Swamiji had written 3,32,000 palm leaf booklets containing the future events of all the Nations in the World. They are collectively known as the Kaala-Gnyaanam (meaning, Knowledge of Time). Among them, as on date, only 3 booklets are available to us. The rest remain safely buried under a Tamarind Tree in a religious Institution in Banaganapalle, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA, to be retrieved only by the long awaited Saviour of Mankind, the Kalki Avatara. The contents of the available three booklets have sufficient information to educate and to warn the Human Race about the trying days ahead. What awes the non Hindus is that, the protagonist of this book Sage Veera Brahmendra Swami, had entered into Jeeva Samaadhi (i.e., walking alive into a previously constructed Tomb, which immediately thereafter is sealed from outside), in the year 1693. This Tomb is situated at Kandimallayapalli, a remote village in the Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA. It is more than 300 years now, and the faithful believe that Swamiji is alive in the Tomb, in a state of deep Tapasya. The devout expect that he would break open the structure and come out, at the time when the Avatara Kalki would descend from the skies. All major religions are expecting a Saviour; and it is interesting to note that the Saviour in these religions comes down from the clouds, and the descriptions that follow relating His arrival, have significant similarities. Could this suggest that the Saviour in all these religions is One and the Same! Albeit with different names! The Islamic concept of Qiyamat, and the Christian percept of the Day of Judgment coincide closely with the prophecies of the Hindu Kaala-Gnyaanam. The holocaust described therein suggests the possibility of a sudden reversal of the geomagnetic polarity that could lead to Global Catastrophe with simultaneous death and destruction. Strange things can happen; a full moon will make appearance on the night of a new-moon, the sky will become red, the sun and the moon will come together, all planets will change course; and the sun will thenceforth rise in the West. Unbelievable change in human and animal behaviour will be noticed: the newborn will speak to their mothers, animals will speak to humans in human language, idols in temples will come to life, wood will sink and stones will float, extreme sensuality and incest will prevail; everything will be topsy-turvy. Veera Brahmendra Swami promises, in his Kaala-Gnyaanam, that at such a time, the Saviour, common to all Mankind, will appear, descending from the skies on a horse back, with a long sword in hand, followed by an army of valiant warriors. He will destroy the evil and protect the righteous. He will conquer Nations and establish a New World Order of Peace based on Dharma. While the Galactic phenomenon is scientific, the appearance of the Saviour is a matter of faith. Between the two extremities lie the strange behaviours and incidents that defy logic. But, Science and Religion are not separate; they are two poles of the same Spectrum, and the Twain shall meet on the Day of Judgment. Dr. Prabhakar Korada
