About the Book

Houston, Texas is a large city which makes lonely boys when they go there from small towns over in the mountains. Dewain and Bo were brothers who grew up in the mountains of Virginia and Kentucky. Seldom going to school and often robbing small stores for running cash. Their home was a small cabin in the mountains out of Pound, Virginia that offered little in the way of amenities beyond a roof and a bed. When they were about twenty years old they decided they needed to go to a larger city and see if there was a way to make money and not have to work too hard in the process. They applied at all the major industries they could find but their resumes didn't inspire many companies with a reason to hire them. As a result of their background they decided to visit the bars in town to see what the conversation was about. While having a beer after work one afternoon they happened to overhear a young man telling of his job at a bank loading lots of cash into cases for a company who came in to the bank regularly to take away large sums of cash. This was just what they liked to hear about. They began to work the young man by buying his beer and asking questions about all this cash. When the cash amount got so large they could hardly stand it they made a proposal to the young man to join them in an adventure to put some of that cash to better work. For ten years some of the finest law minds in the country searched for these two with no luck and no results. Two young black boys gave the whole scheme away.

About the Author :
His company sent him over the world as their ambassador. Working with sales people and customers. Children were grown, wife could join in the travel. As a story teller his varied life offers lots of fodder for real stories and a lifetime goal to write. Retired in 1986 this is based on a real story. The author looked down the barrel of the UZI when the robbers came in. He had returned from the bank with the cash for the weekend. He shot at the robbers as they left with the money. He suffered the loss in many ways. The pall of doubt over the loss was not pleasant. Ten years was a long wait for resolution.
