About the Author :
Sylvia LeDoux is a Histologist, certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology with a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design. She is professional illustrator with numerous published medical illustrations and also a professional painter and avid gardener . "I became interested in edible wild plants and the medicinal quality of plants over ten years ago. On my Father's side, my French/Native American grandmothers were traditional healers. My Mother's father was a scientist and mathematician. This gave me a natural skill for learning and scientific investigation. I use these gifts to give my knowledge back to society. I am sharing what I feel has been lost in much of our modern culture." She lives in Austin, Tx close to her three daughters and their families.
