About the Book

The Day Cookie Was Lost Cookie has the perfect life. Every day Cookie wakes up to another beautiful day in sunny Florida. She loves her daily routine that includes a morning walk, a yummy breakfast, playing with her sister and finally, taking a long nap in her cozy little bed, all in that order. Everything is fine until one day it all goes upside down. Cookie is lost!!! How could this have happened and how will she ever be able to find her way home? Follow Cookie and see what happens when she is confronted with the thought of never seeing her mommy or her sister or her cozy little bed ever again. This is an adventure you do not want to miss. Susan Marie Chapman I grew up on a farm in rural southern Pennsylvania as the oldest of eight children. My dad was an electrician and my mom was a homemaker. I wrote my first story in sixth grade about animals. My teacher, Mrs. Bakkon, helped me with the grammar. Teachers can be the most wonderful gift to their students. I still think of my teacher and how she helped to mold me into the person I am today. My story won an award and was published in a magazine. In high school, I again involved myself in writing as the Sports Editor and Editor In Chief of my school newspaper. I attended college in Pennsylvania, earning an Associate Degree in Business Administration from The Business School of Widener University, and went on to attain a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wilkes University. Years later, I again returned to school to earn a Certification in Interior Decorating from Philadelphia University. After working in sales for a few years, I met my husband and stayed at home to raise our two beautiful and talented children, Michael and Avery. I am now residing in Miami Beach, Florida, with my two furry children: Sugar and Cookie. We are planning new adventures as we speak, so stay tuned.
