About the Book

Tiny and Pointy are embarking on a whole new adventure – camping in the back yard! There’s only one problem – it’s dark outside, with no nighty-lights, and that is when the Grumbles and Nom-bies come out! But Tiny and Pointy are best friends, and working together they figure out a way to creatively conquer their fear. Even funnier and sweeter than the first book, this is a darling story about how two friends learn to let the light in.

About the Author :
Jonathan Stutzman is a children’s book author and award-winning filmmaker. His short films have screened at film festivals all over the world and on television, and he is a contributing writer to the bestselling collection The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories. He received his masters at Temple University for Film and Media Arts. Jonathan loves reading, travelling, creating, and thinking about all sorts of strange and nerdy things. He lives in Palmyra, Pennsylvania. Jay Fleck is an Illinois-based designer and illustrator. Inspired by memories from childhood as well as his two young children, his art has been featured everywhere from the Gap to Papyrus to Threadless. He lives with his family south of Chicago, and spends his spare time running and reading (but not at the same time).

Review :
"[Tiny T. Rex and the Very Dark Dark] captures how many children feel about the dark. It's a great way to open up conversation about this issue and help them deal with it. The text is clear and appealing. Young listeners will enjoy the elaborate plans the friends go through to conquer their problem. A great read-aloud for little ones--and not just those who are afraid of the dark."--School Library Journal "[Tiny T. Rex and the Very Dark Dark] charmingly taps into a common childhood fear and offers playful solutions. There's not much to be afraid of in Fleck's blocky, glowing illustrations of the two pals, and readers with similar worries will soon find theirs alleviated."--Booklist "As in Tiny T. Rex and the Impossible Hug (2019), Fleck and Stutzman really bring the cute... Tiny's superserious narration carries the adorableness with ease... [Tiny T. Rex and the Very Dark Dark is assuring promise for timorous toddlers with special squishes of their own."--Kirkus Reviews
