Two Sides of Wilde

Amelia Hiller has survived the scandal. She had her twin sons Ryan & Henry, unmarried and unwilling to follow the path her father insists will unfold. "Amy" is steadfast and dedicated to her sons, her business and the life she has managed without a companion. Since the twins' father Alec, a professor at her college, devastated her fragile ideas, she hasn't ventured into any relationship. Beginning in junior high, Ryan's normal quiet, sweet demeanor starts to change. At first Amy ignores his mood swings, attributing them to hormones, adolescence, thinking maybe he has grown into some of his brother's confidence and attitude. As time goes on, Amy realizes, it isn't Henry she sees in Ryan, it's Alec his long lost father. Having put behind her the trials and heartache of a man she never understood, Amy grapples with the idea that same man lives in her precious son and isn't someone she can just walk away from. The reason for Ryan's odd behavior, turns out to be something no one could have predicted and his life may hang in the balance. For Ryan's entire life, Amy and her father are all he has ever needed. Could his own father be the only one who can save him?

Cherilyn G. Fienen is a 34-year-old writer and artist living in Southeast Kansas with her teenage daughter. When she isn't writing, her interests include painting, genealogy research, photography and home décor. She volunteers at the local library, works as a substitute teacher when time permits and decorates cakes to help with fundraising for a local high school. Cherilyn grew up in San Diego and started writing as soon as she learned how her feelings and experiences could be translated onto paper. She is almost finished with a fictional Romance/Drama set in San Diego & Oklahoma, has started a long term plan on a memoir and is self publishing You Come From A Long Line of Strong Women, for her daughter. Cherilyn participates in NANOWRIMO. Cherilyn also submits poetry, articles on various topics to online and traditional magazines and has tried her hand at song writing and a Halloween children's book, Creepy Christina; completed and currently in the illustration stages. Cherilyn has started and stopped her education over the years, completing more than 2 years of college as an English Major. She hopes in three years, when her daughter graduates from high school, that she will have completed her Bachelor's in Library Sciences.
