"Complete in its description of a broad range of community practice, the processes and skills required, while also being thorough in describing the frustrations, challenges and dilemmas workers face, interspersed with real life examples to provide context. It does what it says on the tin." This updated volume will help to ensure that community work practice and education is responsive to changing needs and emerging issues.' Anna Clarke, International Association for Community Development 'The book is an excellent resource for those wanting to dip into it and sharpen up their own practice.'
