About the Book

The second in a rip-roaring adventure series from a NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author, this is THE NEVERENDING STORY for a new generation.

When the magical waters of the Pirate Stream begin flooding Marrill's world, she must return to the Stream and find the source of the mysterious Iron Tide. Reunited with her best friend Fin - who has been forgotten all over again - Marrill must make the treacherous trek to the impossible world of Monerva and uncover the secrets of its long-lost wish machine.

Only there can Fin wish to finally be remembered.

Only there can Marrill wish to save her world and the people she loves.

But to get everything they've ever wanted, Marrill and Fin may have to give up on the most important thing they already have: each other.

An epic adventure series from husband-and-wife team, John Parke Davis and Carrie Ryan. Beautifully illustrated by Todd Harris.

About the Author :
Husband and wife Carrie Ryan & John Parke Davis have been in love with each other's writing (and with each other) since meeting in law school a decade ago. Carrie is the New York Times bestselling author of the critically acclaimed Forest of Hands and Teeth series. J.P. is an Assistant Federal Defender in the Western District of North Carolina as well as a published author of short fiction. Though they've been important parts of each other's writing for years, this is their first full collaboration. J.P. and Carrie currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina, with their two ornery cats and one gullible dog.

You can visit Carrie's website at carrieryan.com, read her blogs at carrie-me.blogspot.co.uk and carrieryan.tumblr.com, follow her on Twitter @carrieryan and find her on Facebook at www.facebook.com/AuthorCarrieRyan.

Todd Harris is the illustrator of The Hero's Guide series, the first of which was named a NEW YORK TIMES notable book of 2012. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, and samples of his art can be found at his blog, hog-heaven.blogspot.co.uk.

Review :
Multifaceted characters, high stakes, imaginative magic and hints of hidden twists and complexities to come add up to a memorable start to a projected four-volume voyage. - KIRKUS MAGAZINE on THE MAP TO EVERYWHERE (starred review)

Husband and wife team Ryan and Davis have created wholly original settings, and the juxtaposition of Fin and Marrill's backgrounds and personalities is enjoyable and humorous. This is an ambitious undertaking, and strong readers who enjoy adventure fiction and fantasy will inhale the first book in what has the potential to be an extraordinary series. - SCHOOL LIBRARY JOURNAL on THE MAP TO EVERYWHERE - starred review.
